1. We are a married couple of doctors. We operate the House on the Hill in accordance with the state-of-the-art standards of geriatric care.

2. We have an unconditional authorisation to conduct business relating to care of the elderly and disabled, granted for an unlimited time by the local authorities of the Małopolskie voivodship (Wojewoda Małopolski).

3. We specialise not only in the treatment of old age diseases such as cardiac insufficiency or dementia, but also provide comprehensive geriatric care, rehabilitation, occupational therapy and bibliotherapy.

4. Our establishment is designed to accommodate the needs of the disabled and the building has no architectural barriers. It houses a large living room with a terrace, dining rooms, rehabilitation rooms, a chapel, and a modern kitchen. All rooms are equipped with 24-hour emergency alert and response system, telephone and intercom.

5. We seek to ensure continuity of care and therefore have also rooms for bed-bound persons.

6. The House on the Hill is situated in picturesque rural surroundings, close to a forest. The nearby Zakopianka highway provides and easy and simple access to the facility.

7. We cooperate with a geriatrist who is a recognised authority in Poland in the field of treatment of advanced age patients, a national expert in dementia, and an co- author of geriatric care standards.

8. In February 2008, we were granted ISO 9001: 2000 and HACCP certificates, which are a guarantee of our commitment to the quality of our services.

9. If a need arises, each of our residents can obtain medical consultation 24 hours a day, including at weekends.
